The short version: Vidora keeps your downloads and settings
on your own device. We don’t run a server, you don’t create an
account, and we don’t collect your personal information. The only data
leaving your device is what Google’s ad and payment services use, as
described below.
This policy explains how the Vidora app (“Vidora”,
“we”) handles information. Package id
com.statussaver.status_saver.
1. Information Vidora collects
We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data.
Vidora has no user accounts and no backend server. The following stays
only on your device and is never uploaded to us:
Media you save (photos, videos, audio) and their thumbnails
Your download history and app settings
Files you move to the Private folder, and your PIN (stored as a one-way hash — we never store it in readable form)
Uninstalling Vidora removes all of this local data.
2. Third-party services
Vidora uses these Google services, which may process some data:
Google AdMob (advertising) shows banner and
interstitial ads and may collect a device advertising identifier,
approximate (coarse) location, and app-usage signals to serve and measure
ads. See Google’s
Privacy Policy and
how Google uses
data. You can reset or delete your advertising ID and limit ad
personalisation in your device settings (Settings → Google →
Ads).
Google Play Billing processes the optional one-time
“Remove ads” purchase. Payment is handled entirely by Google
Play; Vidora never receives your payment details.
3. Permissions and why we use them
Internet — to load the sites you open in the
built-in browser and to download the media you choose.
Storage / folder access — to read the WhatsApp
“.Statuses” folder you grant access to, and to save
your downloads to your gallery. Vidora only accesses folders you select.
Biometric / fingerprint — to unlock the Private
folder. Authentication is handled by Android; Vidora never sees your
fingerprint or biometric data.
4. The built-in browser
Vidora includes a web browser so you can open sites and save content from
accounts you sign into yourself. When you browse, you interact with those
third-party websites directly and their own privacy policies and terms apply.
Vidora does not collect or transmit your browsing history; any logins or
cookies you create stay in the app’s browser on your device.
5. Content and copyright
Vidora does not host any content. You are responsible for only saving
content you own or have permission to download, and for respecting the terms
and copyright of each website. Vidora is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or
sponsored by WhatsApp, Meta, Instagram, Facebook, or any other platform.
6. Children
Vidora is not directed to children. It is intended for users aged 18 and
over and is not designed for use by children under 13.
7. Data security and retention
Because your data stays on your device, its security depends on your
device. The Private-folder PIN is stored hashed and vault files are kept in
app-private storage. We retain no data on our side. Removing the app deletes
all local Vidora data.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves or as required by Google Play.
Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated”
date above.
